WHAT IS DYSPHAGIA?

"Dysphagia" is the medical term used to describe swallowing difficulties. Over 2 million Canadians aged 45 years and older may experience swallowing difficulties.1,2 It is often not detected or diagnosed until it begins to impact day to day life.

This questionnaire can be completed in as little as 2 minutes and can assess your risk of dysphagia, and the need to see a healthcare professional for further assessment. This questionnaire may be answered by you or with the help of a caregiver or a healthcare professional.
